- Expand the brand’s presence throughout social media channels by implementing best practice standards on content creation and dissemination.
- Controlling and assessing the impact of social media promotional campaigns.
- Creating visual and impactful content specific to the business to encapsulate the focus of each campaign.
- Maintaining a reliable, consistent presence and response mechanism on social media to build an engaged audience.
- Overseeing brand mentions, features, and tags on all social media channels.
- Engaging with appropriate influencers and industry experts to build brand awareness and social proof.
- Moderating digital communities and comments to ensure that all engagement is consistent with brand values and codes of conduct.
- Managing the customer service provided through social media communication channels.
- Monitoring and evaluating the impact of social media campaigns and providing reporting to quantify whether promotions have achieved the relevant KPIs.
- Providing team-wide training, guidance, and coaching to ensure all content is created following brand values and guidelines.
Requirements and Skills:
- Experience in social media marketing, either as a manager or in an associated role, with the skills to grow into a management position.
- Knowledge of social media strategies and the ability to craft approaches based on organizational goals and market climates.
- Previous experience developing and adhering to social media-based marketing plans.
- The ability to develop and apply curated brand tones of voice and style properties tailored to the social media platform.
- An established ability to develop and expand communities of social media followers and contributors.
- Understanding of graphic design concepts and how these apply to social media marketing campaigns.
- Expertise working as a social media Brand Manager or as an affiliate brand representative.
- Capacity to monitor, measure, and report on campaign success, KPIs achieved and recommend future adjustments to maximize exposure.
